Jose J. Granda , PhD  is a full Professor in the Mechanical Engineering  Department at California State University,
Sacramento.  He obtained  his Master degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley and his PhD
degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Davis.  He has served as consultant to industries and  has
written research papers and presented seminars on computer modeling and simualation of dynamic and control
systems.  He is the Chairiman of the Technical Activity Committee on Bond Graph Modeling of the Society for Computer
Simulation.  He has served also as General Chair or Program Chair  of the International Conferences on Bond Graph Modeling
and Simualtion ICGBM'93, ICGBM'95, ICGBM'97, ICBGM'99.
